Rules
We made the words. Their names stay theirs.
We wrote this site. We did not take NASA’s pictures or SpaceX’s logo. Films play on YouTube, because the films are theirs.
Our Space Mission is a learning site we made ourselves. We do not work for NASA, SpaceX, ESA, CSA, or JAXA. We send you to their real pages so you can watch and read there.
01
Independence
Our Space Mission is an independent educational site. It is not affiliated with, approved by, partnered with, or endorsed by NASA, SpaceX, ESA, the Canadian Space Agency, JAXA, NOAA, or any other agency or company. A link is not a relationship.
02
Names and trademarks
NASA, SpaceX, Falcon, Dragon, Starship, Starlink, ESA, CSA, JAXA, Orion, Artemis, and other names are trademarks of their owners. We use them only so a reader can tell who flew. We do not use their logos, suits, or vehicle paint jobs as our mark. Our mark is an original orbit drawing.
03
What we made
The sentences, the worksheets, the Pad to Orbit game, the starfield, and the drawings before a film plays are original to Our Space Mission. Please do not copy them onto another site and present them as yours. Facts are different: a launch date, a crew name, and the shape of an orbit are not owned by anyone. Our wording of those facts is ours.
04
What we do not copy
We do not paste agency articles, press-kit photos, or competitor pages. We do not host video files. We do not show a YouTube preview image. The picture you see before you press play is drawn here. If a fact needs a source, we link the source instead of reproducing it.
05
Films
NASA films play inside YouTube’s own player (youtube-nocookie.com), and only after you press play. YouTube’s terms cover that playback. We do not download the film or sell it. SpaceX launches are not embedded. The button goes to spacex.com/webcast or to SpaceX on X. A channel that only looks like a live SpaceX broadcast is not theirs, and we do not send you there.
06
Schedules and sky numbers
Mission dates were checked in September 2026 and can move. Space-weather numbers are requested from NOAA when you open the Sky page, and labeled as theirs. Meteor notes follow the American Meteor Society’s calendar, rewritten in our words. Eclipse paths should be confirmed on NASA’s eclipse site before anyone travels. If we disagree with the source, the source wins.
07
Children and privacy
Children can read, play, and print without an account. We do not ask a child for a name, birthday, photo, email, or location. The game score and the shop cart stay in this browser. The note form does not send a message anywhere. There is no public comment box, no chat between children, and no leaderboard.
08
Privacy
We do not run accounts. We do not sell personal information. A cart list and a game score can stay on your device. The Sky page asks NOAA’s public space-weather service for numbers when you open it. Films load from YouTube only after you press play, and YouTube then follows its own rules. This page is a plain explanation, not a lawyer’s privacy policy for a finished business.
09
Terms of use
You may read the site, play the game, and print a page for your home or classroom. You may not copy our drawings or sentences onto another site and call them yours. Agency names stay their trademarks. Do not type a card number into this site. If a date on a mission card disagrees with the agency’s own page, their page wins.
10
Digital purchases and refunds
Nothing on this site is a completed sale. The cart does not charge a card, does not add tax, and does not email a file. Prices are examples in US dollars. When a real checkout exists, a grown-up would have to agree to immediate download and understand the cancellation rules that apply where they live, including the UK 14-day period for digital goods. Until then, do not treat an order note as a receipt.
11
Cookies
The cart and the game score use this browser’s local storage, not an advertising cookie. We do not show ads. If a film starts, YouTube may set its own cookies after you press play. You can clear site data in your browser settings.
12
Accessibility
Pages use large type, visible buttons, labels on form fields, and a skip link. The game can be used with a keyboard or a finger. If a control is too small or a sentence does not make sense, use the note form. We will treat that as a fix, not a complaint to ignore.
13
The shop
Packs are Our Space Mission pages, not agency merchandise. This preview does not take a card, does not calculate tax, and does not complete a sale. An order note stays on this device and nothing is charged. A real shop needs a business, a payment company you control, and a way to deliver the file. Do not type a card number into this site. Agency stores are linked on Sources. We are not paid when someone buys there.
14
Type and icons
Fraunces and Figtree are used under the SIL Open Font License. Icons are from Lucide, under the ISC license. Neither is an agency asset.
Questions stay on your machine if you use the note form. It does not send mail.
