Flying now

Who is flying right now?

Each card is a short true story and a button to the real page. Dates can move. Trust the button.

Dates slip. If a card and an agency or company page disagree, their page wins. The next SpaceX crew flight on the public board is Crew-13, planned for October 1, 2026. We checked this in September 2026.. Who flies.

  • Artemis II

    Crewedcompleted

NASA, with a CSA astronaut · Moon flyby

From April 1 to 11, 2026, Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen flew Orion — the capsule Integrity — around the Moon and back. It was the first crewed flight beyond low Earth orbit since Apollo 17 in 1972. They did not land.

  • Artemis landing missions

    Crewedplanned

    NASA and partners · Moon

The campaign’s next hard step is a landing, which needs SLS, Orion, and a separate lander. Hardware and dates were still moving in September 2026. A flyby being finished does not mean a landing date is firm.

  • ISS Expedition 75

    Crewedoperational

NASA, ESA, Roscosmos · Low Earth orbit

In late September 2026 the station’s crew included Jessica Meir, Jack Hathaway, and Anil Menon (NASA), Sophie Adenot (ESA), and Anna Kikina, Andrey Fedyaev, and Pyotr Dubrov (Roscosmos). Crews rotate. If this list and NASA’s page disagree, believe NASA.

  • SpaceX Crew-13

    Crewedplanned

NASA, SpaceX, CSA, Roscosmos · International Space Station

Planned for October 1, 2026, at 11:10 a.m. Eastern, from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Falcon 9 would send Crew Dragon Grace to the station with Jessica Watkins and Luke Delaney (NASA), Joshua Kutryk (Canadian Space Agency), and Sergey Teteryatnikov (Roscosmos). It already slipped from September after a leak in the capsule. Weather can move it again.

  • Progress 96

    Cargooperational

    Roscosmos · International Space Station

A Russian Progress cargo ship docked on September 19, 2026 with food, fuel, and supplies, and was expected to stay for months. Cargo ships are uncrewed. They are why a station can keep a crew.

  • Commercial cargo to the ISS

    Cargooperational

NASA, SpaceX, Northrop Grumman · International Space Station

Dragon cargo ships and Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus fly supplies on a repeating cadence. The next flight number changes often. This card is the pattern, not a countdown. Use NASA’s station blog for the vehicle that is actually next.

  • Starlink

    Cargooperational

    SpaceX · Low Earth orbit

Starlink is a communications constellation, not a station cargo ship. Satellites launch in batches and the network is in service. On September 28, 2026 a Starship test also released a first set of newer Starlink satellites. Service maps and launch dates live on Starlink and SpaceX, not here.

  • Starship flight tests

    Testtesting

SpaceX · Earth orbit, for now

Flight 14 on September 28, 2026 was the first time Starship reached orbit. It deployed satellites, then came home early after an engine problem and splashed down in the Pacific. The ship is not carrying crews. Lunar-lander plans depend on many more tests, including refueling.

  • New Glenn return to flight

    Testtesting

    Blue Origin · Earth orbit

New Glenn has reached orbit on earlier flights. A 2026 pad accident paused the cadence. The company said it intended to fly again before the end of the year. This is not a live status board.

  • Juice

    Scienceoperational

    ESA · Jupiter’s icy moons

The Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer launched in 2023. On September 28, 2026 it flew past Earth for a gravity assist and kept going. Jupiter arrival is targeted for 2031, then years of moon flybys. It is a cruise, not an arrival.

  • Europa Clipper

    Scienceoperational

    NASA · Jupiter / Europa

Europa Clipper launched in October 2024 and is cruising toward Jupiter, with arrival targeted around 2030. It will fly past Europa repeatedly. It is not a lander. Confirm the timeline on NASA’s mission page.

  • BepiColombo

    Scienceoperational

    ESA and JAXA · Mercury

After a long cruise, BepiColombo entered its arrival phase in 2026. The transfer module separated in September. Mercury orbit insertion was targeted for November 21, 2026, with the science phase later. It was not in orbit yet when this card was written.

  • PRIMA space telescope

    Scienceplanned

NASA · Space telescope, Earth orbit or beyond — see NASA

In September 2026 NASA announced PRIMA, a new space telescope concept aimed at a 2033 launch. Announced is not built. Read NASA before repeating the year as a promise.

Starlink is listed with cargo because satellites are the thing being carried. It is not food for the station.
