ISS night

The station is a bright, steady moving light, not a blinking plane. It is a laboratory with a crew. Cargo ships visit. It is not a spaceship leaving for the Moon.
The International Space Station is a bright, steady point that crosses the sky in a few minutes. Planes blink. The station usually does not.
People live there for months. They do science and fix the plumbing. Cargo ships bring food and fuel. It orbits Earth. It is not on the way to the Moon tonight.
Who is aboard changes. NASA’s station page is the list that counts. Predictions of when it passes over your town come from official and careful unofficial sites. Check the time the same evening.
Our Space Mission is a learning site we made ourselves. We do not work for NASA, SpaceX, ESA, CSA, or JAXA. We send you to their real pages so you can watch and read there.
